Manuscript entitled "Laser Development Programs," which covers Herriott's employment and work at Bausch and Lomb Optical Company on anti-reflection filters, refraction indices of optical glass and interferometry systems; at Bell Telephone Laboratories on lens measurements, optical information storage and other optical programs, and his work with Ali Javan at Bell on developing gas lasers, which he describes in some detail. File also includes a later letter to Joan Bromberg commenting on the manuscript.
